Reflexology, Massage Therapy, Orthotics

Stavros Soulios, Acu-Pain ClinicWelcome to Acu-Pain clinic; the clinic that helps you reach your goals of health and well-being. My name is Stavros and I am a Registered Massage Therapist and Reflexologist. My goal here is to do my utmost best in helping you achieve your goals of a pain-free life. I focus on your needs as an individual using my extensive training, work experience and care to get results. Your first session with me will be a detailed physical assessment where together we will discuss your goals and develop a plan to achieve and maintain those goals. We may also include some specialized machines to help reduce pain.

Do not let the words Massage Therapy restrict you to one type of massage.
I have training in various types of massage such as:

Tui-Na an ancient Chinese style massage where percussion is used to stimulate and then further relax the neurological-muscular system.

For those suffering from past accidents or surgery that have not been the same maybe Myo-Fascial Integration is what you need to make your body move as one complete unit.

For women who are blessed in carrying a child, pamper yourself with a Pre-Natal massage for yourself and your baby and take the stress and pain away that could be related to from pregnancy.

For those over worked and tired feet treat them and the rest of your body with a wonderful session of Reflexology and find out what your feet are saying.

I also offer Aromatherapy Massage, Sports Massage, Raindrop massage, Orthotics, and much more.

What is Reflexology?

reflexology treatmentReflexology is a focused pressure technique, usually directed at the feet or hands. It is based on the premise that there are zones and reflexes on different parts of the body, which correspond to, and are relative to all parts, glands, and organs of the entire body.

When the reflexes are stimulated, the body's natural electrical energy works along the nervous system to clear any blockages in the corresponding zones. A reflexology session seems to break up deposits (felt as a sandy or gritty area under the skin) which may interfere with this natural flow of the body's energy.

Reflexology demonstrates four main benefits:

1. Relaxation with the removal of stress.
2. Enhanced circulation.
3. Assists the body to normalize metabolism naturally.
4. Complements all other healing modalities.

Contact Stavros to book your session of Massage Therapy and Reflexology together or try it all on its own today and find out what your feet are telling you.

General Info on Feet and Orthotics

Feet are the foundation to your body; similar to that of a skyscraper they support the weight of everything above them. Small problems in your feet can cause a change in the way you walk and therefore cause a chain reaction of adjustments in your posture and walking mechanics. This leads to increase stress on the joints higher up in your body and to sometimes more serious problems.

Custom made orthotics are specifically made to tailor your needs and active lifestyle. They will help to restore a normal foundation in your feet and re-align your body’s joints and therefore alleviate and in most cases eliminate pain.

I am pleased to offer Custom Prescription Orthotics to our patients at the Acu-Pain Clinic. Similar to what corrective eye glasses do, orthotics are biomechanical medical insoles that are custom made to correct the imbalances of your feet. Imbalances such as SUPINATED and PRONATED feet are the most commonly seen problems. Most extended health care insurance plans fully cover the cost of custom orthotics. Refer to your insurance plan for more details.

Also included are:

  • localized foot pain
  • bunions or hammer toes
  • arch and heel pain
  • leg and knee pain
  • hip, back and even neck pain
